The first week of December, Brandon and I took a road trip up to Idaho to bathe at Lava Hotsprings. Great R&R! We got massages, turned to prunes, ate breakfast with the locals, and grabbed dinner and a movie in Pocatello. Very romantic, I know. Really though I loved the podunk town. How nice is it to walk a block to breakfast and two blocks to the hot springs. Brandon is already talking about making another trip up in January. We stayed in a remodeled place that wasn't creepy and bought groceries at the new market. I think everyone should go at least once. I got turned onto this place as a child while taking summer trips with my parents. Nostalgia is a great thing.
Everyone meet baby Ewan Louw Taylor. He was born Nov 29. What a sweet , perfect boy. Our fmily is so excited to have him as our newest addition. I am trying to warm Brandon up to the idea. I even got him to hold the new babe, and have a picture to prove it. For now I'll enjoy holding Ewan, and am looking forward to the birth of baby-boy Blackwelder in a couple months.
Don't be scared. My sisters, mother and I carved pumpkins last night. This is our handy work. I'll be working in the ER on Halloween, which means I should have more good stories to share.
For those of you who don't know, Brandon is a used car dealer. That means I sometimes get to sport aroung in sweet rides that make me feel rich and encouraged crusty looks from other drivers with the occassinal fool who pulls up along side me and wants to race. This silver beauty was waiting for me in the garage on valentine's with a red bow and roses. (don't puke) Unfortunately our time together was only 3 short months. It was sold to some lucky lady. I guess that's the biz.
Sept 2007 Brandon and I took a weekend trip to Vegas with our friends Darren & Anya Carter. We had a blast! Moroccan dinner with belly dancers, laying by the pool, dancing at club Tangerine and the Voodoo Lounge. And the best part was not being at work.
What a beautiful day. It snowed about six inches. Everything went perfectly. We were married in the Bountiful temple and had our reception dinner at The Inn on the Creek in Midway. It all went by so fast, I'm glad I have pictures to help me remember.
